Singing Lessons
Hannah has been teaching singing for over 12 years privately, in schools, night classes and for small and large ensembles. Singers of all abilities are welcome, especially very nervous students. Tuition in all musical genres is offered encompassing pop, jazz, rock, country, blues, musical theatre and classical.
She can assist with music theory and harmony and entry for exams (ABRSM, Trinity and Trinity Rock School).
Hannah teaches over 15 students per week at her studio in her flat in London SE13.
Hannah has had great success with several her students recently after helping them prepare for important auditions. Students have been accepted onto the Mountview School Musical Theatre Course in London, The Brit School of Performing Arts in Croydon, Surrey, The Meisner School of Acting in New York. Other talented students have gone on to secure contracts as production singers on Royal Carribbean cruise lines, win a role in a Edinburgh Festival original musical, get through to the X Factor bootcamp after stiff competition and be signed to recording contracts.
Her students are encouraged to perform in public whenever possible and Hannah seeks out these opportunities for them.
She is a vocal coach and musical mentor to pop group Holah at Mayfair Studios in Primrose Hill, London for Grammy award winning producer John Hudson who has also produced Tina Turner, Coldplay, The Sugababes, Radiohead and many other major acts.
Her zest and passionate for music and teaching are so contagious that singers can't help but be enthused and inspired by her teaching methods. Hannah believes that singing can create confidence in other areas of a person's life and is a very therapeutic and healing activity.
